Summer Fun

We took a trip to Renaissance to play in the fountains with Ben. What fun!
This was the best photo of the two that I got! They were both very busy!

Happy Summer!

1/2 a year

Jennings is 6 months old! She is developing quite the personality and is a hoot to watch. She is growing so quickly.

At 6 months, Jennings is:

*16 lbs 12 oz - Jennings has delicious rolls on her legs, arms, and belly. It is so cute!

*25.5 inches long - I am afraid you might be vertically challenged like your mom.

*Rolling everywhere - If Jennings spots something she wants, she will roll until she is able to retrieve it.

*Sitting up - Jennings is so proud of herself for sitting up.

*Eating apples, bananas, green beans, squash, carrots, pears, and sweet potatoes. You still have a bottle every 3-4 hours. I just knew you would love peaches as they are my favorite fruit, but you actually gagged and threw up the first time that I gave them to you.

*Sleeping 10 hours at night.

*Wearing size 2 diapers and 6 month clothes.

*Playing with toys.

*Laughing, smiling, and babbling up a storm.

Happy 6 Months Baby Girl!

Sweet Summertime

Ahh, nothing is better than summer. Lots of sun, cool treats, and no alarm clock (except Jennings). Jennings is really enjoying her mom being home again. We have been on the road most of our time off.

We visited Jennings's cousin, Emma, last weekend. Jennings was very interested in Emma, but Emma was very unsure of her cousin Jennings. We had a great visit.

Jennings loves the water. We have a little pool for our backyard, and she just lounges and splashes. It is so cute!

Hope you are enjoying summer as much as we are!

5 Months

It is truly unbelievable how quickly time passes once you have children. I feel like this little love bug was born just yesterday, and somehow she is already 5 months.

At 5 months Jennings is:

*Eating 5 1/2 ounces every 3-4 hours

*Loving food (Pears and bananas are your favorite. You strongly dislike avocado.)

*Rolling everywhere. She was playing in her room while I was preparing her supper. I heard her talking and walked in to find her under her rocking chair, which is aleast 4 feet from the rug where I left her.

*Loving books. She loves to be read to and even helps turn the pages. Her favorite book is Here Comes Peter Cottontail. (I have tried to tell her that Easter is over, but it has no effect. :))

*Sleeping from 7:00-4:30 (Unless you happen to be on steriods to get rid of a cough!)

*Smiling when mom and dad walk into the room

*Laughing out loud

*Playing with toys - the steering wheel is your favorite along with Sophie

*Logan is of great interest to you! You stare at him in amazement anytime he comes near.

*Bath time is so much fun. You just laugh, kick, and play in the bath.

*Scooting - Jennings will pull her legs underneath her and push with her feet.

Jennings is such a happy child. She love to play and smile. She is such a treasure and we thank God each day for

Lately

Jennings Baby Dedication was on April 10. We were blessed to have family and friends take part in such special day.

Easter

The bunny hopped and left Jennings a few Easter treats.

The treats were loved! She smiled and bounced as she saw new toys.

The twin pops came to celebrate with us.

Jennings doesn't quite understand that you must remain quiet during church. We spent 95% of the service in the foyer, but were able to enjoy the sermon and music through the speakers. As soon as we got in the car, she passed out. It was so nice out, she hung out in the flower beds for a while.

Hope you had a Happy Easter!
